What did we do before mountain bikes? The open hills and moors, and stunning glens of Glen Lyon, Loch Tay, Rannoch and Highland Perthshire were just made for them! And if you prefer not to do the hard work yourself, our off-road driving and safari centre might just be the perfect alternative. There's no doubt about it, if you want to get to know a country - really get to know it - then you're going to have to get off the road at some stage and get right into the heart of the countryside. Between them, our cycling, biking and off-road partners cover virtually the whole range of holidays and breaks on wheels available anywhere in Scotland.

For the less adventurous
Pedal your way through some of Europe's finest scenery! You don't need to be super-fit either - our options include gentle cycling on a network of great short routes through quiet forests and level paths, unspoilt and uncluttered roads and country lanes.

For the slightly more adventurous
Go off-road - find out just how far you can go in a four-wheel drive jeep, land rover or truck at one of our partners’ custom made off-road centres. Or enjoy a highland adventure safari – let someone else do the driving. And whether it's a mountain bike for off-road use or a touring bike for use on the road you don't need your own bike (you can hire mountain bikes when you arrive).

For great adventure and challenge
Gut-busting, mountain bike ascents (and hair-raising descents!) on demanding hillside trails. Or magnificent quad bike trails with big bikes over rugged terrain. Wonderful scenery! And can be enjoyed by all ages.
